MIDI channels 1-4 not working?

FIXED: not a problem with sammichFM at all, but rather mysterious voltage phantoms changing the MIDI out setting on my MIDI interface!!!

For some reason, sending MIDI output on either channels 1, 2 or 3 will result in sammichFM only receiving on channel one (instrument 1). Sending channel 4 will result in sammichFM receiving on instrument 3 (WTF?)

derp. nevermind. somehow midi interface settings got messed up (i have no idea why, but the midi output settings somehow changed from my previous ones - WTF technology!!)
