MBSid V2 running!

years go by (literally) but now i’ve almost finished my 1st midibox Sid V2!

it’s a step B minimal stereo 8580 setup with 8x BankStick. i just temporarily put it in a cardboard box.

it’s running, but i still have to figure out some minor stuff, like changing the encoder settings. atm it’s going 4 steps per move.

at this point i’d like to thank you guys who have helped me, especially TK, Wilba, stryd_one, SmashTV, Mike!

i’ll update this as soon as i have made a cool case (soon to come)!

ok, after updating mios and installing the sid firmware again the encoder works fine.

i still had the impression that there’s no real stereo… the impression was correct. after reading the appropriate part of the documentation again i cut the cable between the 2 sid boards and made a new connection from J14 of the core to S0 on the 2nd sid module.

works!
