well, i’ve finally got round to the actual fabrication of the mbhp modules (only after a 100 odd posts :P)…
on the first run, i made the a couple mirrored, so in order to save them i just soldered in eveything mirrored - should everything be okay? is it okay to run the IC’s upside down (as it’s mirrrored) i just bent the pins a full 90 degress so it all matched right…
now to make more boards - this time the right way round 
btw, voltages test okay on these!
actually, the voltages are not okay…
using a 9v 500mA to test the core with. on input measure is 11.7V and at the points where it should be 5V it still measures 11.7…
whoops, had the 7805 stuffed the wrong way…
now i’m gettin 4.5V ;)…

with the mirrored board it will be really difficult to prevent soldering errors - but it’s possible. Be careful!
