Is it possible to have 27 drum tracks in a drum sequencer like the sequencer of the mb808?
I would like to make a sequencer for a novation drumstation.
16 tracks for the 808 and 11 for the 909
MBSEQ V4 can control 16 drum instruments per track - accordingly you will get up to 256 “drum tracks”

What about in the PIC core?
I don’t have a STM32 core.
With the PIC core you have MIDIbox Seq V3, which can do 3 drum trigger layers per Track, making 16x3 = 48 “drum tracks”.
However, don’t forget that the DrumStation runs out of voices at about 7-8 drums in parallel
