MB-6582 w/ AOUT for controlling modular synth question

Hello

I am preparing to build my first Midibox project the MB-6582, I have been reading over all the material and there is one thing I am unsure of. If I use an AOUT board is the unit able to control the 2 Gate outputs, everything I’ve read mentions the CV outs but not the gate outs…

If not I will save my MAX525’s and use another version of the AOUT.

Hi,

yes, the 2 gate outputs of the AOUT module are always serviced.

With:

#define DEFAULT_J5_FUNCTION     3

in your setup_*.asm file, you will get access over all 8 exernal switches at CORE:J5

Thank you, the code is not something I understand just yet…

Any tips to add more Gate Outputs, if possible I would like to design my case with 4-8 gate outputs.
