hello,
someone out there who has the newest manual for the MB6582?
And/or explanation of the latest MB6582 front panel, meaning of the LEDS?
Thanx, i’m enjoying my MB6582 so much that i’d like to know what the new extra LEDS and buttons mean. ![]()

new leds? new buttons? ???
can you explain which ones?
i can only find pictures of the front panel of the MB6582 prototype.
On the latest panel there are 2 extra LEDS in the upper right corner and less LEDS on the left side. The photo’s of the latest MB6582 version are too blurred when zoomed in…so i can’t read what’s written on the panel…
Can you be more tech-ish and tell me what you are talking about?
The FPD files for the panels are here:

There are pictures elsewhere on the forum, just search for “MB-6582 panel”.
The new buttons are documented in the MB-SID V2 manual, or are fairly self-explanatory - just press them and see what happens!
thanks Wilba, my brain became a bit overpowered by all this new MB6582 information the last week. But i’m glad that, for a newbie, i’ve finished the whole project yesterday. And i’m really enjoying it!!
Thanks again!
There isn’t a manual specific to using the MB-6582. It is pretty much just a (very very nice looking uber-sexy) SID V2 though with a few little tweaks… If you read through the SID v2 manual on ucapps http://ucapps.de/midibox_sid_manual.html then that should give you a start.
Why doesn’t anyone post pictures? ![]()
cool ;D
I’ll be posting mine when it’s finished…
***G goes off to grumble at dodgy control surface***
Hmnn, maybe that’s my problem… I’ve been de-bugging for these last few weeks, maybe i need to start re-bugging! ;D

Yes, but don’t just use any bug. The ladybug has far better sound and quallity than ordinary black bugs plus they match the red pcb really nicely!
