Logic and the future?

Hi all,

just wanted to start this little topic, cause i am going to purchase Logic Express in a few days.

I suspect that 99,9 percent of this forum users are on the PC side (i don´t want to talk about which OS is better) and we all know that Emagic belongs to mac now (no support for PC´s).

Since i am a lucky G4 owner, i was asking myself what you guys are planning to do in the future?

Is there a linux sequencer with all the funktions of Logic in the drawer?

Or is Cubase a alternative?

Is the Logic enviroment (one of the reasons i will stick to that app.) exchangeabel?

I have an old AMD PII laptop for Midiox,Mplap,Eagle,Picburn, but like to do audio stuff on the mac, which works really well.

What´s your opinion?

Logic express looks like a bargain.  Real dissapointing that there is no PC support in the future though…
