Has anyone ever used these in a midibox controller? How are they compared to the sparkfun ones?
hey, they even got 4x4, and matching pcb (cut to desired size!). nice!
they’re smaller (0.5") than the sparkfun ones (0.59"), which i find is a good thing, but they also got bigger ones (0.625").

I’m more curious to hear about the operational force on them, which is why I was asking :).
I’ve heard that the sparkfun ones require slightly to much force and are unreliable in terms of the buttons being pressed. I was hoping that these ones are better suited for MIDI controllers (they have to be decent since they sell them for that purpose). It will be cheaper than the alternatives too.
