I try to connect a bank stick to IIC-port and a
character LCD to J15. When the Bankstick is not
connected, everything runs fine, if the stick
is connected, the LCD won’t work anymore,
but the application is running normal.
I did not yet check if Bankstick reads/writes work.
Is it a problem to have a bankstick and character LCD
connected at the same time?
PIN 28 of the PIC is used for both IIC and LCD port.
What is its function?

The pin is shared but that’s OK

hmm… I think no. I just disconnected the SRIO boards, the problem
stays. the DOUT-issue is not a malfunction in this way, it’s just kind
of confusing..
the test app works as expected, only the MSB/LSB of
the DOUT-registers are swapped. the single registers appear in the
right order.. and with the ribbon cable wiring you have very few
pontential wiring bug sources
I’ll check the Bankstick wiring, maybe some solder-bridge or something
(as I already had on a core PCB this mornig..)

me idiot made a shortcut with the mounting screws for the
little bankstick-bord..
