Where can i find good knobs for building my Midibox SID?
I’m searching for the old '70 style knobs.
Another question: is there a difference between a pot and a rotary encorer?

There’s a great difference between pot and encoder.
These are completely different parts
A pot changes the resistor (analog) while changing the value and a rotary encoder “sends” on/off messages (digital).
Doc
A pot is only turning once ie not quite 360 deg
where an encoder can spin round & round like a jog/scrub wheel
JUst checking so the Pots are connected to the AIN module and the encoders to DIN?
Cheers
MIDIbox SID doesn’t support pots, but only rotary encoders. Thats the better solution anyhow - you want to have jumpless switching when changing the oscillator, LFO, ENV, SID number - or the whole patch

Oh okie,
Apologies for not stating clearly, I was actually think of the connection to the MB Core, midibox64? Not refering to the SID.
Cheers
mb64 uses pots.
i have seen some oldschool knobs on ebay.
