knobs and jog/shuttle

I’m wondering what sources you people use for encoder knobs. Some of the projects on this site are knobless, ie bare shafts, but that seems rather barbaric to me :slight_smile: So what’s a good source for encoder knobs??? In the US?

Also, what’s available in the way of jog/shuttle assemblies? I’ve looked around a bit, and found encoders with a hollow shaft clearly designed for concentric applications, but I haven’t found any prebuilt jog/shuttle setups. Any ideas?

Oh, while I’m at it, where can I find nice, attractive pushbuttons?

ask local suppliers, or the suppliers listed on Thorsten’s site. As for the jog wheel… I’m gonna get my bro to turn a knob up for me on the lathe at his work… maybe you could pull one from an old stereo… The rest of the jog wheel is just a rotary encoder
