Hi all,

I just wanted to say a very big thanks to Thorsten  :smiley: and all the people here answering the questions, debugging other ppz etc.

MidiBox is such a fun project … I can’t believe that I’m building my own midi controler with my own OS (well I should say “program” as MIOS is the real OS).  :o

As a piece of information my midibox contains the following components :

  • Pitch bend & modulation wheel (coming from my old broken DX7s)

  • Two analog joysticks  8)

  • Two infrared distance sensors for D-Beam like action  ;D

  • one detended pot for sending program change messages (or setting values when in edit mode)

  • one superb 20x4 blue backlight LCD  :wink:

  • a few buttons still coming from my DX7 for navigating thru the functions

Building this babe is so much fun … so thank you for all of the great moments I’m spending with this excellent idea/project

The gear should be finished building in a few weeks (everything runs fine, I still have to finalize my OS + buying the panel & the box).

When finished I’ll post a few photos here.
