Wondering where to buy good (studio like) Joystick and Ribbon Controllers. (For the Ribbon Controllers: I mean the 2D (like a touchscreen without screen :) )not the normal 1D long ones)
Searched in google, but only found stupid stuff (like ready made synthies - :P )
Would be grateful for any suggestions.
I started a discussion about ribbon controllers on this forum some time ago, and someone came up with the idea of using a touchpad of a laptop.

I think Thorsten mentioned that he got a ribbon controller from Yamaha as a spare part for a good price!
Joysticks?? expensive, but maybe you can get them as a spare part for a radio control transmitter or for very cheap from an old analogue computer joystick!! (I bought one brand new for only $5)
As far as joysticks go, what about the “analog joysticks” used on Playstation and other game controllers? Don’t know the specs on them, but they seem well constructed, and they’re lots of fun 
Also, I think I saw some bare assemblies in the digikey catalog, but I can’t find a copy of it around. Try the website: digikey.com
