I am from Hamburg germany and I am a hobby musician especially with 80s gear like Oberheim Dx, MFB Tanzbär, Arpie , Cubase PC.
My first computer was a Commodore VC20 because the C64 was too expensive for me. I like the C64 sound. You can hear it in many modern US Hip Hop productions. I can solder and desolder capacitators in the power supply and find out that a regulator is not working but thats all.
I bought one Arpie -the arpiegiator - constuction kit and I needed help to get it working. The second one was ready assembled and everything is good.
My question is: Is there anyone selling his ready build Sid Synthesizer. Please offer every kind but if possible I would prefer a stereo version ( 8580 + 6581)
My wishes: It should have as many direct controls as possible or be controlled via Midi cc controllers (very easy with cubase and a CC121 controller)
If possible a bigger display because I am about 50 and my eyes are not as good as decades ago.
Depending on the overall price a combination midibox sequenzer and Sid is nearly impossible but we can talk about everything and then we will see what is possible.
I have no facebook account anymore because I dont like BKA and NSA (many thanks to the courage of Mr Snowden) but whats app and telegramm
