how to connect the 4 bridges on the DINX ?

Hi,

i don’t quite understand how to solder the 4 bridges on the DINX module.

It says I have to solder the 4 bridges between  Pin 15 of the IC’s and the Vss (ground) at the bottom side.

but how do I mount the IC-holder after making these bridges? Cause the hole in the pcb across Pin15 will be filled by the bridge.

Do I have to mount the IC-holder first and then solder the bridge to the IC-holder?

I don’t have any solder experience, so don’t shoot me :wink:

Hi

just solder the Sockets first then solder the bridge to the end of the pin sticking through the PCB
