How to assemble a SmashTV Core Module Kit

I’ve added a link to a PDF document that describes how to assemble a SmashTV Core Module Kit in the DocuWiki under Basics, Practical Tips:

http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/basics

Nice work!

Should this be hosted on the wiki page directly? … Stryd?

I’m alllll over it  This is great, and as a PDF I guess people can print it out and keep it as a reference or whatever.

Jim I hate to be a total PITA but… how hard would it be to add the voltage tests before loading in the PIC? This is a bloody top notch bit of doco and I’d like to be linking newbies to it  I mean the tests on the ucapps Core Module page, just above the cabling addendum.

                                            A nice

luxury is a lead bending jig that allows you to get

perfectly spaced bends without fuss

what is THAT ? I want one!

Nice work jimhenry

If that is being a PITA, bring it on!  ;D  Good idea! I’ll make that change and then see if I can upload the PDF to be hosted here. I saw the info on how to include files after I initially did this. I’ve also added a second link under MBHP…Core.

SPEEDY BEND LEAD FORMERS–5166-801 from Mouser About US$5

bring it on!  ;D

Oh, our hero  Just fire off the email and I’ll take care of it

The pdf is great - just discovered it after building my first core module  and would’ve saved me some time and a lot of uncertainty along the way. Great stuff!

Being a total new player not only in midibox but electronics, this was extremely helpful to me

Thanks for the effort in posting this
