That’s sad as all the time that went into building it and the thief will have no idea what it is.

i hope the sids will catch your absolutely righteous fire of anger and burn down a good part of the burglars stolen things

really sorry for you :console:

I’m very sad to hear of your loss.

If there’s anything I can do to help, let me know.

Sorry to hear that… :hmm:

Sorry to hear about this! I most likly will not be finding it since I am in norway, but one thing I thought of - does the mb6582 have any serial numeber printed on it or anything else that makes it totally unique? It would be easier to identify if someone sees it on ebay or similar… one could ask the seller also…

As he said that the thief did not take the power supply, that is a pretty good indicator, together with a photo, I would think. If it showed up on ebay, ask a few insider questions and see how well the seller can answer. Unfortunately, I am not so sure about success rates when it comes to getting back the MBSID, based on such evidences…

mmm, well housebreaking is a crime, after all. so i think if these items can be found on ebay he can have the police do further steps, like interrogating the seller, as one can assume that there might be other stolen things to be found, too.

fortunately it’s very likely to be noticed if a 6582 appears on ebay.

good luck man.

If it can be found by the community and retrieved by the police, your fingerprints should be all over the interior establishing proof that it was you who assembled the unit.

Thanks for the support guys, Blog Post updated with more information, additional item, and it seems they DID get the midiboxsid psu.

Updated again with some unique mods info that might help identify it better.

The midibox sid is very unique. it has i think, only 2 or 3 of the 1/8" jacks on the back, and a switch for turning MIDI OUT to THRU where one of the 1/8" stereo jacks should be.

and i thought they won’t take things they don’t know what they are, what to do with them AND which are heavy… man i was so wrong.

sorry to hear about your loss man.
