HELP!

This is a very simple question and I am probably doing something wrong, I’m trying to open MIOS studio 7.4 and I cant!!  I downloaded the zip file and the Java recommended, then I unpacked the zip file and according to the website you should just be able to click on the file and it will open, with no success it just goes into the folder.

I have tried to open it in MS-DOS also by doing:

java -jar MIOSStudio_beta7_4

and an error message appears in dos saying:

Unable to open jar file: MIOSStudio_beta7_4

Sorry if its a simple answer but can someone help?

I also had trouble with my MIOS Studio download

and Java Run Time

On the PC, after you’ve got that JRE bundle installed, there should be a java “JAR” file type associated with Java. From that point, you can just double click the MS7.4.jar file and it will run (exactly as it came in).

I think that type often associates itself with Winzip/Winrar, but it should be opening with Java “as is”.

Hi Antony,

Try this:

-When you save MiosStudio in your Pc add “.jar” at the namefile (example:MiosStudio7 change in MiosStudio7.jar) and choose the type of file from “winzipfile” to “all the files”.

I tried this and it work!
