help with translation

Damn german… and i even lived in hamburg for some time.

Could someone please help me translate the following into german:

(or point me to specific products at reichelt.de)

a rotary encoder (datawheel, endless pot)

A detented encoder is recommented for precise data entry

rotary encoders. (non-detended)

This is all stuff i wanted to buy at my local store. But since reichelt says i have to buy for atleast 150 euros, i see myself forced to buy them at there shop.

[EDIT]: I have found these “optischer Drehencoder ohne Rastung”, but they cost 8,35 euro.

Im guessing "Datawheel "must be “Datenrad” or something right ?

rotary encoders were not available at Reichelt, I think the ones you found are new… this price is quite “normal”; conrad is even more expensive! :frowning:

or -> voti.nl (I think ~2.50 if I remember right)

datawheel is just the name by it’s use and means an Encoder.

hmmm… pollin.de got some (there is a thread about these) and conrad also distributes some.

no voti.nl encoders are 1.19 euro..
