HD44780 compatible blue lcd's

I saw these posted on the old board

the blue ones below, specifically

2x16 - 9,66mm - 122x44mm - EA E162-BNLW

4x16 - 4,75mm - 87x60mm - EA E164-NLW

they look HD44780 compatible according to the pdf

might they work?

Mmmmmmthose look more tasty than the VFD’s i was looking at. prolly less $$ too
