The money shot

SEQ v3

I built this SEQ from leftover parts from my SEQv4 build a while back. I gave it to my nephew for his birthday this week. He was VERY pleased…

SEQ v3

When I started my SEQ project I scored an UltraCore for my CPU and then the 32 bit platform came out. Rather that waste the UltraCore, I decided to use it in this project.

SEQ v3

I was luck enough to score another Wilba control surface for my nephew’s SEQ. Thanks for all of the hard work Wilba and Smash, it is appreciated!!

My GM5x5x5

Just finished the electronic assembly of my GM5x5x5 card. My first SMD project. It took a little practice, but I finally got the hang of drag soldering. It’s not so bad…

My GM5x5x5

Another view. I have an enclosure designed for it. I am just waiting on julianf to move and get settled back down so he can make it.

Re: And, the finished product

Nice - how did you find the fit of the panel in the case grooves?

Re: Feb 2011

Nice, totally professional job. Really like the light stalks idea too.

Re: More of the finished product

Congratulations - you mastered it!

Re: My GM5x5x5

Nice one. Expensive enclosure? mine is still kinda homeless :ahappy:

Re: My GM5x5x5

I don’t know yet. Julian moved last week, so I have been out of touch with him. I’m expecting it to come in at around $100 usd. I’ll be glad to send you the FPD file if you would like to have a look at it.

Re: My GM5x5x5

nice. It’s always good to see another 5x5x5 born! Let those greedy manufacturers of the midi modules know that we can do it cheaper and better!
