The basic LCD display for a Midibox project is a 2×16 character LCD based on the HD44780 industrial standard from Hitachi. You can use a larger LCD, like 2×20 or 4×20, and the standard Midibox projects will just use the 2×16 characters in the top left corner.

 

So yes the MBFM can use both displays in the group buy, check your built

I’m in for 2x white 40x2 displays. If there are not enough requests for the white ones to hit 10, then I will fall back to green.

By the way… I know this is kind of old now, but I’d just like to thank Macotronic for having organized this.  I know it’s a lot of work and he had a lot going on. (He got hitched in the middle of it hahah) Anyway  THANK YOU!  :)
