Floorboard and pic

On the schematics for the floorboard it uses a Pic16F874. I´d like to know if it is possible to use an Pic16F877 instead, and if so is there need for any change in the Hw & SW.

I´ve already got the pic16F877 so I can get started right away. Now i´ve got something to play with until I get the pcb´s for the sid ready :wink:

I went to the shop today and bought all the things for the Sid and floorboard :smiley:

Unfortunatly i made a mistake when I bought the LCD for the floorboard. I bought the common cathode ones instead of the common anode. (damn my stupid head..)

Is there any simpel way to make these work and if not, is it possible to use the floorboard without the LCD (to get started.)

I tried it out and it does work without the LCD. :wink:

The only real problems i´ve had building the thing was when i missread the schematics for both the JDM and the floorboard. But now both things are working!! :smiley:
