Finished MB-6582

Well guys, its finished until the add-ons come. I thought I would share some pics. Just wanted to say thanks for the help and advice to all.

Also I had a pre-sleep dream the other day about connect some sort of speakjet module to the d-sub. Would that be possible or am I just dreaming?

anyhow thanks. Maybe I can answer a few noob questions based on my experience.

Wow, looking good!  It’s nice to see a non-black case for a change!

And this is why you never trust product photos on the net, mmkay!

Pretty! And “Thanks!” for not using blue LEDs and thereby not ruining this beautiful box! ;D

Excellent… I like this colour scheme!

Did you choose to use those knobs because you prefer them to the “Waldorf” ones that everyone else uses?

I was thinking the blue-ish translucent ones I used on my original MB-6582 would suit better, or maybe the grey or white ones.

If you’re interested, let me know, I could send you some (I think I have some spare)…

I dig the waldorf knobs, I just kind of picked up what was available and what would go with the blue front panel.

I also did add plexi cover in front of led, which I dig and easy to install. The local hardware store had small pieces off plexi, a plexi knife and some super glue.

love the bright case, looks great

If you have enough juice left to power a core, and speak jet module, and enough space to mount them some way into the mb-6582 then id say its possible.
