Just wondering, the 7805 will get hot when delivering over half an ampere. Lets say I use the DOUT with leds and connect 32 of them. Also asume I have all outputs activated at a certain point.
Using 220 ohm resistors will give me ( assuming led takes 1.2V) 32*3.8/220 = 0.553 ampere.
Since the module is getting is current from the 7805, and ofcourse other modules and a PIC are connected to it, wont it get very hot from this?.. anyone any expreciences with this?
