hi! I owned second hand DOEPFER POCKET DIAL for some time and two right knobs make a lot of value skipping
turning right I get values like +4 -3 +1 -2 +2 +1 -5 -2 +2… is there any way to “clean” the encoders or what? does it help do remove detents? how to do this? thanks for reply
…no reply from them >:(
can anybody help?
That´s typical for Doepfer. You won´t find anyone here who likes them to much (I do think so). They more or less are selling stuff for a to high price and 90% of it can *easily* be done DIY (especially the modular synthesizer stuff).
The support @ Doepfer is known to be a shame. They normally *will* answer you, but that can take a few days up to weeks. If it´s some urgent stuff, I would call there. You can also look for forums on Doepfer stuff.
There is a forum link on the Doepfer homepage:
http://server3.ezboard.com/bdoepfermusicelektronic (and there the Pocket Contolers even have its own section)
Try it over there or build the better MidiBox.
doepfer forums are already death for years
yeah am working on my midibox but still I want to use my pocket dial and the skipping value problem really heckle me >:( there must be some way to clean the encoders or not? they are ALPS made imho…

… it will be hard to find somebody to help you with doepfer hardware in this forum
(reasons you’ll find in different postings)
there must be some way to clean the encoders or not? they are ALPS made imho…
… why don’t replace them, if they’re ALPS?
