Doepfer go diy (well not quite!)

I wonder where they got the idea from?  ;)

Good for people who know what they want but don’t want to play with electronics! Not as flexible as MIOS though! ;D

I had a look at that one ..It’s actually pretty limited for even someone not quite midi knowledgable as I am. You can only connect 16 devices to this thing (buttons, knobs, faders etc..) For my needs I would need in the worst case scenario 3 of these which is quite an expensive solution ..I think they sell for 80euros each

:o

80 ? ? ! !

Dammit I´m so happy I found this site…

At least it is somewhere to send anyone who wants to integrate midi into some kind of commercial product… MIOS being non-commercial, not for profit, etc.

At 80 euro’s they’re not gonna make much profit off it…

but maybe if you are afraid of soldering irons???

Doepfer boards are expensive.

For 128 knobs / buttons you are looking at around 400 euro for just the boards. I guess you save the time for not have to solder and program them but still…

… very valuable reply on a post which is 4.5 years old  ::slight_smile:

It seems to me a bit like you’re replying to many posts with nonsense comments.

If you’re hunting for stars, I actually don’t care but it pisses me off to read through the forum and look for “new” posts, just to find “sweet” and “cool” or other BS.

Yeh, idle chat is okay man - in fact I encourage it strongly - but let’s keep it to a sensible limit
