When i push
the fist button, i can see *00000000 on the LCD
the second button 0*0000000
but the 17 0000*000*000000
and after 0000*0000000000 (the * stay on the lcd when no button is push)
to erase this * , i must push the fisrt or second button.
I don’t understand and it’s my first electronic project.
Can you help me ?

It sounds like maybe there is a problem with the cable between your DIN modules, or maybe a short on one of the PCBs
Which application is this? What happens with the buttons 3-16, are they all OK like 1 and 2? Are you using momentary switches (switches off when you release it)? Where did you get your PCBs from?

In december 2006, I made a core with DIN without any problem.
It was MIOS 1.9d, MIDIbox 64 application.
I don’t use it for 8 months ( i made my wood keyboard, like church organ)
2 days ago, i 'm trying to use it, and you know the problem i find.
Last night, i reprogramming the application and now, it’s right!!
Can a PIC lost its program ?
