DIN module question

Looking at the button example configuration for the DIN module:

I notice that there is a ground for 2 * 16 groups of input.  Is it possible for all 32 inputs to share the same ground rail?  Indeed can a chain of din modules share the same ground? 

The reason I ask is that the (61 note) organ keyboards I am planning to midifi have a single ground rail which I would like to avoid cutting.

On all my Midiboxes I connected all DIN and DOUT-grounds toghether (starlike). This works very nice  :wink:
