I think a cv/gate module could be a good and useful addon for the great Midibox project.

Is it possible to add a new module for cv and gate out?

Is there space for more code?

I saw a midi to cv, gate, accent, slide and cv2 out box based on a PIC from Trevor Page.

is there someone else interested in a voltage controlled output module?

To controll some old synths like tb303, moog etc. without midi?

I mean build a tb clone in the next time, and a CV-module would solve my next problem.

Will be nice to have one integrated in the MBHP  ;D

and not a third party CV-module.

The MIDIbox SID will get an AOUT interface with a 4-channel 12-bit DAC and 8 trigger outputs in the future. Of course, the firmware can also run without the SID itself, on this way you have nice CV interface with additional virtual LFOs, EGs, slide, arpeggiator, and so on… :slight_smile:

Hey, that’s fantastic.

I hope the new interface will get an adjustable voltage range from -10 to +10V, so you can also control arp synth’s with it. Will it be supported by the Midibox 64?
