Hi. Crystal again :
I bought a 14.31818 crystal from Rapid Electronics a while ago (they no longer have them) but the range is on this page:
I’m a bit confused about the 3.3v/5v versions of these oscillators, as if you check the datasheets for either, they all say 5v parts.

Looking at the code on the part, it seems to suggest it might be suitable for both 3.3v/5v?
Might this affect the operation, before I plug it in and get into trouble?

I found a Rapid catalog online that shows that part as OK for both 5 volt and 3.3 volt.
Your topic is “Crystal Voltage”, but this is a crystal oscillator. I want to make sure you understand the difference. This is NOT just a crystal. It’s a complete circuit that has a crystal inside it.
If your circuit calls for a simple crystal this is not an exact match.
[edit] I checked the OPL3 board list, this looks like it should work.
