Once you get the knack of it, doing it with needlenose pliers isn’t *that* bad.
That said, I’ve probably done hundreds of pins that way, so I’m used to it by now. If I had crimpers, I’d use them for sure, but I’d rather spend my money on parts instead of tools ;D

yeah, if I had to do lots and lots I’d get the crimping tool, but needle nose pliers are easy enough to crimp with…
