CORE UPLOAD Problem

Hi folks,

My core was working fine and I was trying to get my LCD working when it went nuts and started reseting continuously, so I took the LCD off and left it alone for an hour or so.

So now it’s sending out the program request every 2 seconds, but it won’t upload properly.

When I try to upload it does the first block and then freezes - see the screen capture below. Please note the weird sysex msg it sends before it freezes:

F0 00 00 7E 40 00 0E 0B 01 F7

I get this no matter what program I try to upload - I’ve tried everything from MIOS1.9 to the apps like LC etc  :frowning:

Any ideas??

Your MIDI signal from your computer to your CORE is not working.  Otherwise after the first block was sent, the CORE would send back a CHECKSUM message instead of an UPLOAD REQUEST message.

I didn’t expect that to be the case, as everything was working fine before and I’ve already pluged and unplug the midi stuff to be sure - but I decided to give the midi ports a wiggle and the board a little shake and tap…

an lo and behold! I can upload again!
