control surface does not work

Hello,

I am testing my quad sid but after mios and sid_cs upload i get a normal display.

Now no led burns and the only button that works is the control 1 button. It chages the display.

no rotary no led no button works ???

What have i done wrong?

Have you enabled the Control Surface within the Seq App.?

Not that you have an old version of you SID App. and therefore no support for the CS. You need to put it on in the main.asm.

pay_c i do not really understand what you mean.

I have loaded bootstrap with JDM

  1. Installed Mios_v1.7

  2. Installed SID_V1.6_with_cs

How do i enable the control surface? I have not used a seq app yet.

Argh! Oooops… mistyped, meant SID not Seq! Sorry! :-X

Ok. So your DIN and DOUT does get everything right? (Check voltages e.g.)

Do some LEDs come up shortly when you switch on?

Anyhow: Check your main.asm file from your SID_with_CS App. if everything´s fine.

CS is enabled (the lcd says it in a flash)

the asm file is ok.

All voltages of din and dout are ok.

Any more options please  :(

Sorry to say this, but:

Disconnect all your stuff from the core (except LCD, LTC and all that stuff that already works) and put it there one after the other. Start only with DOUT 1 and check all your voltages and so on (and also the other Pins - check if it gets it´s signals). The same with DIN and so on.

Kinda work, I know, but in the moment the only option I know… :stuck_out_tongue:
