Can anybody confirm whether these commodores contain a SID chip. I’ve been unable to get a definite answer about this when looking online. These computers seems to be going for a lot cheaper than what the commodore 64/128s do so could be a good way to keep the SID cost down.
Darn! I’ve been looking on ebay for old C64’s and the cheapest I can find are around £20 including postage, the cost is going to soon add up as I’m looking at building the 12 SID synth mentioned on these boards. I’m thinking I’ll just start with a measly 2 SID version and add the other SIDS as I can afford them.
ya the Plus 4 was ment to be a business machine.. It had 4 applications built in.. it sold like a brick. Still.. it had a better version of basic, and could do some screen tricks.. but not at all a game machine.
