Theres been a long time since i last posted here, and I have not started building my MIDIbox yet, but i have one question.

Maybe this has been asked before, but would it be possible to use this with MIOS?

You do need a very high perfomance to include colour within a display. I´m not sure, but I don´t think that the PIC is powerful enough for that.
One solution could be to use two PICs. One only for the controlling of the display, the other for MIOS and sending the data to the Display-PIC. Anyhow it will be much work to include this feature…

Maybe its a bit unnecessary to have a color LCD on a MIDIBox! ;D
…although it’s cheaper than my 240x64 LCD. But it will require a seperate controller (or MBHP core module) + dedicated driver. And the contrast is possibly very bad…
