can cubase send a midibox Channel and insert names?

i am in the middle of designing a midibox controller for cubase

i scoped out the digi icon this week, and i was diggin all the lcd’s on each channel, giving the track names, exc.

does anyone know if cubase can export that info. ( insert names would be sweet too)..

Using the mackie-control protocol, the track-names will be displayed.

IMHO there’s no other possibility, unless you are in the mood of programing a new protocol…
