btw: Anyone has some easy headphone preamp?

Hi there!

I need some easy (DIY) more-way headphone preamp. The quality of the sound does not have to be sooo great (Schematics would be the best naturally).

I want to do some recording with some guys. Although I have 4 headphones, I dont have 4 amps. So everything is stuck up at the moment.

Can some easy OPAmps do the job? Or will they blow up?

You dont have to be soo fast with that. As stated in the other thread of me, I´m in the middle of tests and dont have time to start with that stuff right away.

some LM386 will do the job! :wink:

To have 4 out put make 4 of them, and maybe, but I think it can work without, make 8 buffer for the input (with 4 NE5532)

i think I’m going to build one too! On my (very!!) old tascam 4 tracks there are 2 phone output and it was very useful!!!

I use the headphone amps built into my otherwise unused cassette decks (very cheap) I just have to keep the record button pressed, to route the line inputs to the H/P O/P. Level controls are nice too!

I though of building one, but quit because I simply

got amplifier from ripped-off old PC speakers  ;D
