bootloader 1.007 not backwards compatible?

i updated my stm32 with bootloader 1.007.

i noticed an issue when uploading “older” apps like “midibox_seq_v4_047”, after re-powering the midiseq , windows has an “unknown device” with a quotationmark in devicemanager. then i can only update mbseq_v4 via midi and no usb midiports are available. with “midibox_seq_v4_051” it´s running fine, but i like to use v47 for now, cause of no issues with CCevents with that version.

is there something to “set” or enable-disable after uploading bootloader 1.007 to make it backwards compatible?

This isn’t related to the bootloader, but to the firmware build itself, because it had exactly this bug on certain computers.

A new version which will fix the CC issue will be available this evening.
