Best way to connect pots to J5

Hi everyone, I decided to use the 8 analog pins of core j5. Which is the best way to connect each ground pin of the pots to the Vss pin of j5 and each 5v pin of the pots to Vdd of j5? Since J5 has Vss and Vdd there’s no need to connect ground pin of the pots to the metal chassis right?

Yo, solder them like this:

You could also connect Vdd & Vss instead at the end of the pot row (at pot 7 = 8 pots in a bundle), between pot 3 & 4 (4 pots in a bundle)
