best pots and faders (tactile feeling)

I’m just about to choose which faders and pots I’m going to put into my midi box - and I’m a bit overwhelmed with choice!!!

I’m after 10k pots with switches and some nice long faders and some short ones too.

Which brands does everyone rate for their their tactile feeling?

Does anyone know what brands Allen & Heath or any other top companies use?

Only one from my side: ALPS! Aaaand: ALPS! That´s my opinion after some years of DIY (I did NOT try P&G up to now - as I´m totally addicted to ALPS in the meantime). The best price-feeling option you can get in my opinion.

do you know if ALPS do push-push switch pots? or of any other nice brands who do a pot with a push-push switch?

Certainly, ALPS offers the whole pallette of switches/pots/encs whatever. The only question is, where to get it, as there are not to many distributors. Just search, google, ebay and so on.

Cheers mate - have been speaking with Alps Distributor and have a special order from Japan being spec’ed now, so fingers crossed I’ll have my uber pots soon…
