Batron LCD's

Sorry if there’s already a specific topic for these displays, I did some searches and some people confirmed it works. But I think it’s better to start a topic about all Batron LCD’s..

datasheets say:

• ’SAMSUNG’ KS0070BP-00CC (Die form) LCD Controller & Driver or equivalent.

• ’SAMSUNG’ KS0065B-PCC (Die form) LCD Segment Driver or equivalent.

I’ve been looking at these, all 116mm:

Black on white:

(i dont know if its bleu on white or vice versa, french and belgian farnell say the opposite)

i stopped believing the colors farnell mentions as they contradict themselves and/or the datasheet

Wow they are expensive. They’d want to look better than the dodgy photoshopped images of them! I’d keep shopping.

there’s way cheaper on the same site of course..

but not very special colors/not that bright/not that readable..

if i’d be ordering from crystalfontz and add up tax, postage, customs, it would amount to the same sum i guess.

ofcourse, i’m just checking around, as I’m ordering things from farnell anyway.
