"audio to midi"

Hello,

for me as a VJ would be nice to have “sound responsive”

Midi Out. My Idea is :

audio in -> tunable bandpass filter -> amp -> voltage

limiter (optional ?) -> PIC analog IN.

but i did not manage to find any schematix for suitable

bandpass filter.

Also MBHP TV app is the right alternative to LCD for

me because I`m using preview monitor . Do you know

about some IC capable to luma key (black becomes

transparent) the VIDEO OUT from PIC ?

Thanx for help

check this software out, it is just what you describe and will run on nearly any old pc.

I didn´try it, but this site and the app looks very promising.

I like the aproach writing an app especially for older hardware. Very nice.

And this huge manual rocks too.

This is also something you could do very well with either Csound or PureData. Both are very powerful open source audio and midi programming languages/environments. I’d check them out, well worth learning for any midiboxer!
