this is for those ones who s already made cnc front panels with GLCDs:
if you have a GLCD in a 1.5mm front panel with a 3mm acrylic window, how will be make the aperture for the display: same as the display s screen as in the datasheet or slightly bigger and if bigger how much bigger?

… you have to calculate the parallax depending on the angle your display will have to your eyes in your most regular working positions. - You can use the Pythagorean theorem (… happy pythagorasing…eeehhhm calculating ;))

…will the acrylic screen deflect on some angle the view?
(yes it does i have a little piece here and i ve tested it right away, i can see it will deflect about 1-1.5mm from the real position, that s good!! )
..i think i will give it a 2 mm extraand have nice roundish corners
