Finally eight SIDS

Linear Supply

New layout but same schematic for the second power supply unit for MB6582

Linear Supply

The Trafo is cheaper ( and probably uglier ) than the PCB mount incapsulated one but the power is the same.

A close view

9090 2

Miss some parts yet but …must have patience :hairy:

Feedback Mod

Finally added the feedback pots.
I have to say that that the SID sound become really powerful.

Lexan Window

New window for the LCD.
It is a lexan windov worked with the new CNC machine that my boss bought.
Now it is at level with the frontpanel.

MB6582 New panel

Same alluminium panel but better painting.
The silkscreen seems to me better than the old one ( I changed typist )

The new MB6582 I am building will have a different color than black…something more acid.

And a B/W LCD display

UVFan

I bought a silent fan wich have the transparent violet rotor.
So I stuffed some UV led to illuminate it.

Re: Different view

nice CS

but avoid cristal clear led, it will kill your eyes :pirate:

Re: Different view

Hi Julienvoirin,

thanks for your suggesting but these leds are colored cristals clear and aren’t eye killer (the light of the picture doesn’t return real color and they are green ).

Years ago my ex company worked for GEM and these leds are from GEM PROMEGA so i saved a little batch of them.

I already used in other stuff and never had the problem given from cristal clear leds.

Only the BEAT led is blue cristal clear and if it will give me problem i will change it.

When i will finish the sequencer ( hope to finish soon  ) i will post some image or video to show it.

Regards

Antix
