Well after much help from many peeps, mostly nILS and Wilba, I have finally managed to get my Core and SID modules all hooked up with the LCD and its all functioning !
Still waiting on parts for the bankstick and control surface, namely EEPROMs and rotary encoders so I cant do much more for now, but am able to bang away on the software midi keyboard in MIOS Studio sweet!
Also on my studio monitors I can detect not even the slightest bit of hum so very happy I went with the optimised power supply, even though I bumbled my way through it 
Its all still just sittin naked on my desk, awaiting the rest of the bits before I start to house it…
