I’m allmost done!

Din is fine

Just a matter of sorting out my noisy analog inputs

i only have one ain module, so I grounded the pins on J5 of the core that lead to the second Ain on the “how to connect 64 pots” PDF.

Now, must I do anything particular to J6 of the core?

All the noise is going to channel 6 and over

No, J6 is an output port, so no problem.

Which Events are send exactly? Channel 6 would mean that something is wrong with the 6th pot of a 16-pot row (assumed that you’re running the MIDIbox with the default setup). It’s very easy to determine which pots are affected. The first row sends reverb by default, the second chorus depth, the third cutoff, the fourth volume.

Now that info saved the day!

I filtered out the unwanted rows with Midi-OX and happily set up my pots without all that random stuff to deal with.

What a happy man, a midibox can make  :)

Hey - you shouldn’t have to filter that data with midiox. If you have your stuff set up properly, you shouldn’t get any random midi events. Have you also grounded all unused inputs on the AIN module? All those midi events are likely to clog up your midi transmission, even if you filter them. Do you have all of the chips stuffed on the AIN?
