I found a new chip from Alesis : the A3201 … digital audio effect …
the datasheet : http://www.alesis-semi.com/datasheets/ds3201b.pdf
The AL3201B (SCR, or Single Chip Reverb)
is a one chip reverb solution that is
compact, easy to use, and yet quite
with 16 internal ROM programs consisting
of halls, rooms, plates, delays, chorus,
flange, vocal cancel, and rotary
speaker emulation.
May interrest the ones who want to digitalize their SID …
I order one sample to see how it sounds …

That looks interesting. Keep us online! Thnx.
I have to precise that the cool thing (or the worse… depending of your technicity level .. is that you can create your effects in assembler …

héhé I’m going to maje a chorus/flanger/reverb/echo dor my bass? (I’ve been trying this with a computer for more than 4 years now!)
Salut Gilles…
I don’t know anything about assembler but I am interested in learning how to program DSPs… do you know of any ressources available on the web to learn all this?
Ça peut être en français où en anglais…
did you ever get that sample??

Err, btw: How do you put a digital out to the SID (is there some other one chip solution?)? Would be interesting anyhow, also for other components (imagine a 4 time analog to digital out converter or so).
First i never get this samples …
second , we can do simple but good ADC for SID …
but i like anlog sound … i’ll keep my SIDs analog…
but … interresting !! ;)
but for now i have too much project …

you can make analog reverd, and maybe delay I have some schematic! (when I mean analog : no BDD at all!)
BUT! I think you were still working on this, for our AD/DA box with FX inside hehe
i planified the future of 10k1BOX …
but my big problem is to create something easy to manufacture and not too expensive …
i 'll compile my ideas on the 10k1box.free.fr forum this afternoon …
