a circular plastic enclosure is impossible to find

Thanks for quick answer Frank. Please inform us about the progress. I like a circular design as the loop is circular so it is natural.

I think the same, circular sequencers have their very special fascination. But I have to find out, if people would prefer the rectangular cakebox design. When I find the time  ::), I will put some infos about the SEQUINO development progress on http://www.synthware.com.  Maybe I start a poll over there and let the people decide for the circular or rectangular way.  In spite of the AVR core, some basic facts might be interesting for midiboxers, too.

thanks mc4 for the pic, that gives me a good idea of what to you for my circular enclosing!  it looks cool, though my  design will use a 2x40 and the knobs arranged differently.

alumite looks really cool as well. i might try using that

Thanks bassman but i live about 40kms away from the main european producer of bicomponent silicone, so i may just go for a bike ride instead of ordering oversea, but i ll have a look at their site.

Ice cream tubs? They sell 5 gallon types here in the States; there must be some worldwide equivalent. (One is sitting in the room I live in, for some reason, but I wouldn’t use it as a project case- not my style…)
