Is it possible to use two MIDI inputs with 4 SIDs per cable to fix this?

What is the reason why you are not using seperate keyboard splitzones?
Best Regards, Thorsten.
My SID is not built yet ![]()
I was wondering since my two keyboards (Kawai K4, K5) don’t support splitting easily (At least the K5 can, but the K4 is another story, I didn’t use it much since I bought it.) and I have 12 spare MIDI inputs and outputs for the moment(However, a few MBFMs are to come).
Oh, I just found a solution! -> Building an MBCore to make a keyboard splitter!
Currently the MIDI IN ports of all core modules are linked together, but they could also be connected to individual MIDI Out ports. For such a case, just remove the J11 connections between the cores, and stuff all core modules with an optocoupler.

Hi TK,
thanks, simple fix then.
Cheers,
